COMEDIAN RICO SITA…
Rico is a New York native who now lives in Florida (because no one has ever heard of that before?) Since he was told how funny he was one time by someone at a party, he decided to try out the world of stand-up comedy. Then, the worst thing happened….he made the entire audience laugh and loved every minute of it. Much to his wife’s disappointment he pursued this new found dream.

Rico brings to the stage a blend of all his crazy encounters being married with child, bald, extremely good-looking, sarcastic (apparently), a business owner, and afflicted with an ever-present fear of the palmetto bug (which coincidentally is Florida’s state bird).

NOT JUST A COMEDIAN…
When Rico is not on stage he can be found at his desk designing or on a construction site for his Design/Build practice where he has been the president of E.J.S. Design/Consulting, Inc since 2003. Rico has an architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a licensed General Contractor (CGC 1513302) in the state of Florida, becoming a fourth generation builder. At the age of 17, Rico came to Florida to work in the family business of construction. After realizing that this field is extremely physical and he was spending all of his income on chiropractic care, he decided to combine his passion for construction with his other passion of art. Rico pursued the field of architecture and now creates beautiful designs. Acquiring his general contractors license has allowed him to build these designs as well (he just has other people in better shape do some of the hard work). That’s not true, even though it is hard work, he finds himself in the center of the construction site knowing it’s in his blood and probably because his dad will make fun of him?

CORPORATE COMEDY
Rico decided to combine his 20 plus years in the construction and design industry along with the many years of being a professional stand-up comedian to create this corporate comedy show. Rico brings to the stage a blend of all his crazy encounters being married with child, bald, extremely good-looking, sarcastic (apparently), a business owner, and afflicted with an ever-present fear of the palmetto bug, (which I just found out is Florida’s state bird) .

Professionally, Rico has been published in several magazines, featured on television and radio, and honored with many awards and has been requested to speak and perform for many corporate organizations.

Everybody is aware that the times have changed, especially those directly or indirectly in the building industry. Adaptation and the ability to reinvent oneself or their company is what give people the opportunity to survive and hopefully thrive. Rico is no different. Never one to be stagnant, he is always looking to stay current and discover the latest trends. Rico uses comedy to entertain and leave a lasting impression on his audience. Ultimately motivating people to find their passion and reintroduce themselves to this ever changing market and evolving industry.

It is because of this market that I chose comedy (to cope? Maybe?) One thing is certain, “When one is laughing they physically cannot be upset. Therefore, comedy is the best prescription to better health.” Quoted from some doctor that I met at a party…he thought I was funny!
